Why the fuck am I making 2 do lists

Ive been creating "to do lists" 4 some time now
I don't find them that useful. It's just a thing people do these days to occupy time, maybe even give it meaning?

I'm led to believe that it is of vital importance that your time is productive (make a list) and filled with achievements (based presumably on that list).

All along it feels like a great idea to make a list of stuff To Do. I never used to make lists I didn't give a fuck.
I still don't give a fuck but now I make lists.
Why am I making lists?

my attention span has been so badly damaged that I have to make lists to keep it order.
That head long leap into chaos probably wasn't such a good idea. Especially when you find your self left with the unending tediousness of order and management speak and of course F*&^%^$ to do list's.
